Susan Bremer
Scientist, Exotic Dancer,
Coach, Writer, Speaker
Founder of Self Appeal®
Educator and Expert in Body Acceptance and Sensuality
Susan Bremer has become an inspiration and role model for thousands of women wanting to understand, take control of and feel good about their bodies and sensuality. After twelve years working as a qualified laser technician at Lawrence Livermore Laboratories and in private industry, Susan left to focus on her own emerging theories about human sensuality and self-esteem in women.
Drawing from her experiences as an exotic dancer in San Francisco's premiere gentlemen's clubs, Susan created a series of one-day and multi-day workshops on self-esteem, movement and body image. These sell-out workshops, sponsored by The Learning Annex, The National Organization for Women, The San Jose Metro and others contain strategies and techniques for obtaining self appeal through positive imprinting, meditation and sensual dance.
Susan's DVD, The Art of Sensual Dance® series: Striptease for Real Women is the womens' guide to self-empowerment through sensual movement. Striptease for Real Women walks women through a series of simple exercises that any woman can do to feel better about herself, rekindle her romance or just feel sexier in life. Striptease for Real women contains no nudity and is the first in The Art of Sensual Dance® series to be produced by Susan's company, Self Appeal®.
Susan has been a regular guest lecturer and seminar speaker at San Francisco State University and University of California Berkeley in the fields of human sexuality, gender and womens' studies.
Susan's writing has appeared in Men's Health magazine, Gauntlet, in the recently released anthology Flesh for Fantasy and other national magazines. Susan's classes have been featured in The Berkeley Voice, The Oakland Tribune, The East Bay Monthly as well as other local and national publications.
