Many women find it the only place where they feel comfortable doing this and are therefore more empowered to express their sensuality feel beautiful, self-assured, and sexy. Below are list of questions that people frequently ask. Is this class for women who want to dance professionally? No. While women who dance professionally can learn a great deal, especially if they're beginners, this class is designed for all the mothers, daughters, business women and administrative assistants. Basically it is a class for every woman who wants to feel better about her body, every woman who wants to feel more connected to and approving of her sexuality, every woman who wants to be more confident in her style and manner in her everyday life and every woman who wants to spice up her romance and ignite flames, current and future. Women in their college years have claimed it's the most empowering they've ever done and women into their 50's and 60's energize with renewed appreciation and acknowledgement of themselves. Very voluptuous women have learned to strut their stuff and waif-like women have learned to regard themselves as very feminine. Even self-proclaimed feminists have regarded it as fun, useful and downright necessary for their reality of being a woman. Do I have to have rhythm and dancing training? No dance training or rhythm is required. The women in the classes are at all levels of dance experience and we learn to let go and move erotically through fun exercises and simple moves. Slow sensual movement only requires passion and willingness. I'm not able to do a lot of exercise and strenuous movement, can I still participate? Yes. The Art of Sensual Dance® workshops are not exercise classes where vigorous jumping and movement is required. Some women have reported losing weight with their practice of the moves on a regular basis, and their desire to treat themselves with increased nurturing. I don't have a partner. Is it still worthwhile for me to take the class? Yes. While the class does teach basics such as sexy clothing removal and how to work with a person in a chair, the emphasis on body acceptance, just as you are right now, and the easy erotic moves boost your overall confidence. You'll gain to know know you already possess all the tools necessary, just as you are right now, to be as alluring and enticing as every other woman in the world. The radiation of that knowledge emanating from the inside out is what transforms you into a sensually confident person. I've been wanting to come but I'm coming by myself. Will I be able to feel part of the group? Yes. Susan's teaching technique is down-to-earth and puts everyone at ease. In no time you'll be talking and interacting with the other women as if you've known them for a long time. I'm really shy and nervous. What exactly takes place in the classes? In the introductory class there is brief discussion and we begin to work on easy erotic movement that any woman can do to develop attitude and boost confidence inside and outside of the bedroom. We learn a very simple routine that can be practiced at home and on our loved one if we choose. In the extended workshops we have in-depth discussion, body acceptance exercises and playful loosening up exercises that help to squelch inhibitions and negative chatter within your head. Besides learning sexy clothing removal and how to bring forth the sensual siren within. You'll learn an entire routine complete with clothing, props and music that can be used to put on a show. You'll also participate in nurturing exercises that increase your sensual awareness and be fun with your partner.. Will I be able to get over my shyness? Within each Art of Sensual Dance® class you're able to talk about yourself, why you're interested in taking the class and what obstacles you find in your life surrounding body and sexuality. Susan addresses the issues of cultural brainwashing around what we should look like, what we :should feel and how we should approach our sexuality. You'll begin to regard yourself as a fun, sensual, sexy women and start to chip away at the inhibitions that have been installed in you from outside influences. In the introductory class discussion is more brief due to time constraints, but in the longer workshops there is ample time each week for discussion. Women share their thoughts, concerns, fears, joys and tips. As the class progresses, friendships are formed and bonds tightened that help you gain greater confidence and esteem. Susan's non judgmental, honest, playful approach to these issues also helps to free your mind and spirit. I already know how to do a striptease for my partner and have done so in the past, will this class teach me anything new? With Susan's 9+ years as an exotic dancer, she is able to bring you new moves, tricks and tools you might never have known or used in the past. This class also provides the opportunity to practice, become that much more confident and assured and to continue to eliminate any residual inhibitions you might still have. While Susan's and Self Appeal's philosophy is that every woman is sexy and beautiful, many women still have trouble feeling this way. This class positively confirms this fact. Do I need to have fancy clothes? No. If you don't have anything in your closet and want to purchase something new, which many women find fun and an exciting part of the class, you may. Some of the best finds are at second hand stores and Susan provides some props and articles for your use. I can't make it to a class. Can I learn just as much from the DVD? Yes. The DVD covers a lot of the instructional parts of the class and you can do quite well with it, but what isn't on the DVD or VHS are the discussions, body-freeing exercises and sensual learning experiences that are included in the workshops. If you absolutely cannot make it to a class you may purchase the DVD and/or book a party with Susan where she will come to your home (in the San Francisco Bay Area only) and teach you and all your friends. Make it your very own Wild Women Workshop. |
